Upcoming Events and Scheduled Maintenance Bryan Vice, JHGC superintendent, says that the new #3
green should be playable by May and then renovation to hole #6 will begin. It is planned to raise the front of
the green and divide the bunker. #4 tee for the women will change but not in the near future. They are looking
at moving the cart path as well for access to the #3 green. Bryan also discussed the cost and inconvenience
of using red, white, and blue flags. Instead he is planning to start putting a pin sheet on the carts
and displaying the hole selection for the day at a location easily read prior to the start of a round.
Due to the construction, the golf course will be re-rated for both
men and women's handicaps. Construction should be completed by summer. Typically once the course is re-rated,
it will apply to the following handicap season.
