"Las Vegas Scramble" - Each 4-person team will play a scramble. Before play begins,
each player is assigned a number 1, 2, 3 or 4. At each tee, all players tee off. THEN, the dice is rolled.
If it lands on 1, 2, 3 or 4, that player's tee shot must be used. If it lands on 5 or 6, anyone's shot can be
used.
Individual
Low Net - This is standard stroke play, with gross score being subtracted from handicap to determine net score.
4-Lady, 3 Best Ball – This is standard stroke play. In the event there
are only three players, the players will alternate for the fourth shot beginning with the lowest handicap and alternating
until the end of the round.
"Snake" - Teams will be given
a "snake" at the beginning of play. The first player who 3-putts will receive the "snake" and it
is passed from player to player during the round. If 2 or more players 3-putt a hole, it is passed to the lady who 3-putts
first, making sure that each player who is furthest away from the hole putts first. Whoever has the snake at the end
of the round receives a "prize".
"Whack & Hack" - Each 4-person team
will play their own ball and record individual scores. Two of the scores (the lowest & highest) are combined to form a
"team score" for each hole. Exception: if one lady birdies the hole, the team gets to combine the two
lowest scores as their team score for that hole.
Flag Net – Low net with a twist: Each player’s handicap will be added to the course
par (74) for a stroke limit. (For example: If your handicap is 26, you will be given a 100 stroke limit). Each player
will be given a flag with their name. Players then begin regular stroke play, keeping a running total of their score.
Once they have reached their stroke limit, they must place their flag on that spot on the course. For example, if your
tee shot on 18 is your 100th stroke, you will place your flag where your ball was on the tee shot. Players
who reach their stroke limit before 18 holes are completed may still finish their round as long as their flag has been placed
at the correct location. If a player still has strokes remaining after 18 holes, they should return to hole 1 and continue
playing until all strokes are exhausted. The winner will be the player whose flag has gone the furthest on the course.
Match Play - Ladies will be assigned a "Match" and the winner will advance to the next
bracket. Match play rules will be provided, and handicaps will be used to determine stokes given.
Ironman
Triathlon - Teams will be assigned in advance. Three formats are used. For the first six holes, the format
is Best Ball, with the best score of the team counting as the team score. For the second set of six holes, the format
is a Scramble, with each player moving their ball to the best position and continuing play until the ball is holed.
For the third format, two sub-teams are formed, everyone tees off, then team partners alternate shots until the ball is holed.
Member/Member
and Mixed Member/Member – Each is comprised of 2-person teams and include 4 different 9-hole
formats over 2 days. Member/member is 2 males or 2 females playing as a team. The front 9 on day one is a 2-person
scramble. The back 9 is best ball. On day two, the front 9 is combined net while the back 9 is true alternate
shot. Mixed member/member follows the same format, but the teams are made up of 1 male and 1 female.
"Haunting
on the Hill" - Teams will be assigned in advance. Each player of a 4-member team plays their own ball and records
all individual scores on the score card. There will also be a "team" score entered. Upon reaching the
green, there will be a "pumpkin", "skeleton", "cat" or sign determining how many scores will
be recorded on the "team" score.
